Privacy notice

This notice says what personal data this site processes, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to stand on its own, in plain language, as Indian data-protection law requires.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Kamran Khan, trading as Kamran Code, from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, India. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Kamran Khan is the Data Fiduciary for the data described here.

What is processed, and why

Each item below lists the personal data involved and the single purpose it is used for.

  • Analytics (only if you accept): Pages viewed, approximate location (country and city), device and browser type, the page that referred you, and a random identifier stored in a first-party cookie. Purpose: to see which pages are useful so the site can be improved. Legal basis: your consent.
  • Contact form and call requests: Name, email address, company (optional), project type, budget range, timeline, your message and, for calls, the time you chose. Purpose: to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: you provide it voluntarily for that purpose.
  • Server logs: IP address, time, page requested and browser type, recorded by the hosting provider for every request. Purpose: security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
  • Preferences stored in your browser: Your light or dark theme and your analytics choice, with the date you made it. These stay on your device and are not sent anywhere.

Analytics and your consent

The site uses Google Analytics 4 in Consent Mode. Until you click Accept, analytics storage is denied and no analytics cookies are set. Advertising features are switched off for everyone. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.

You can withdraw or change your choice at any time with the control below. It takes one click, the same as giving it.

Who receives the data

Google (analytics, only if you accept), Meta's WhatsApp (when you send an enquiry from your own WhatsApp account) and Railway (hosting and server logs). These providers process data on servers outside India. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set on the property (2 months by default, 14 months at most). Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation or any resulting work needs, and then deleted on request. Server logs are kept by the host for a limited period and then removed.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:

  • Access: ask for a summary of the personal data held about you and how it has been processed.
  • Correction and erasure: have inaccurate data corrected or completed, and have data erased when it is no longer needed.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw consent to analytics at any time, as easily as you gave it.
  • Grievance redressal: raise a concern with me and have it resolved within 90 days at the latest.
  • Nominate: nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To use any of these rights, contact me using the details under 'Who is responsible'. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you have the equivalent rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This site is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data. It does not track or target children.

Security and breaches

The site is served only over HTTPS, with strict transport security and a content security policy. It has no user accounts and stores no passwords or payment details. If a breach affecting your data were to occur, you and the Data Protection Board would be informed without delay.

यह वेबसाइट कामरान ख़ान (Kamran Code), रीवा, मध्य प्रदेश द्वारा चलाई जाती है। डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम, 2023 के अंतर्गत यहाँ बताए गए डेटा के लिए वही डेटा फ़िड्यूशरी हैं।

  • एनालिटिक्स (केवल आपकी सहमति से): देखे गए पेज, अनुमानित स्थान (देश और शहर), डिवाइस और ब्राउज़र का प्रकार। उद्देश्य: यह समझना कि कौन-से पेज उपयोगी हैं। जब तक आप 'Accept' नहीं करते, कोई एनालिटिक्स कुकी नहीं रखी जाती। विज्ञापन के लिए कुछ भी उपयोग नहीं होता।
  • संपर्क फ़ॉर्म और कॉल अनुरोध: नाम, ईमेल, कंपनी, परियोजना का विवरण और आपका संदेश। उद्देश्य: केवल आपकी पूछताछ का उत्तर देना। संदेश आपके अपने WhatsApp से भेजा जाता है।
  • सर्वर लॉग: IP पता, समय और माँगा गया पेज, सुरक्षा और समस्या-निवारण के लिए।
  • आपके अधिकार: अपने डेटा की जानकारी माँगना, उसे सुधरवाना या मिटवाना, सहमति कभी भी वापस लेना, शिकायत करना और किसी को नामित करना। शिकायत का समाधान अधिकतम 90 दिनों में किया जाएगा। संतुष्ट न होने पर आप भारतीय डेटा संरक्षण बोर्ड से शिकायत कर सकते हैं।
  • सहमति वापस लेना: इस पेज के 'Analytics and your consent' भाग में 'Change my choice' बटन से, एक क्लिक में।
